Cooking is done over an open fire and a wood stove provides cosy warmth in the MicroCabin; firewood and an axe are provided. There is a traditional dry toilet within walking distance.

The stay at “Borgsjö” can be perfected with a day trip to the Björnlandets National Park. The primeval boreal forest with spruces full of lichen, gnarled pines and an extensive marshland offers trails, most of which are round-trips and with a length of between 3.7km and 12km which are ideal for half-day and day tours. Afterwards, the Skuleskogen National Park draws you to the “Höga Kusten”, followed by a hotel stay at Örnsköldsvik.
